We have exciting news about the Power BI course. On Feb 28, 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification got its new name: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate. It shows us where we'll be heading in the future as we add new skills.
The new Exam PL 300: Power BI Data Analyst must obtain the Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification. This test assesses your ability to prepare, model, visualize, and analyze data to assist your company in making the most of it. The DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI exam shall be phased out on Mar 31, 2022, replacing this new Exam. These tests have many similarities.
What does it mean to you?
- If you already have the Microsoft certification named "Data Analyst Associate," your Certification Dashboard might have reflected it on Feb 28, 2022.
- Do not panic if you've been studying for the DA-100 exam. You can avail of the benefits of this offer until the end of March 2022.
- PL 300 is very similar to the DA-100 test, so if you've just begun studying for the former, you might want to switch to the latter. Between Feb 28 and Mar 31, 2022, students can earn their Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification by passing one of two exams.

Use Microsoft Docs or the Power BI Learning Library to supplement your power BI training. Attend the Power BI community webinars as well. Finally, you can use the Microsoft Official Practice Test to take a practice exam for the DA-100: Analyzing Data with Microsoft Power BI exam until Mar 31, 2022.The power BI certification costs 165 USD, and passing this certification exam may result in college credit from ACE (American Council on Education).
