CCNA certifications take between four to eight years of work to achieve depending on what skills you want to master. The cost of these certifications, especially the top two, can be substantial, with certification costing from $1200 to $1800. In fact, it’s probably become my favorite networking certification to take. There are many, many reasons to pursue CCNA today. If you are already in the industry, or considering a career switch, now is the time to start. If you’re a business looking to add critical network skills to your team, look at CCNA. But if you’re thinking about this at all, the first thing to do is to get a good understanding of the curriculum. And you have to take it seriously.
